Chemical Processing / Oil & Gas

Process heating · plant utilities · backup capacity · safer operation

Chemical processing and oil and gas facilities need high-pressure steam, high-temperature hot water, reliable capacity, simplified integration, and safer electrode-boiler operation.

Industry Overview

Chemical processing and oil and gas facilities need high-pressure steam, high-temperature hot water, reliable capacity, simplified integration, and safer electrode-boiler operation.

High-Pressure Heating

Up to 950 psig Steam · 70 MW Power Input

Flexible Capacity
ZETA boilers consume less than 50 kW in warm standby and generate no heat until called into operation. This helps reduce explosion risk while keeping backup or supplemental capacity readily available.
High-Purity Dry Steam
ZETA boilers deliver steam quality above 99.8%, limiting moisture carryover for effective heat transfer, while maintaining less than 5 ppb sodium to help minimize corrosion within the steam system.

Estimated CO₂e Reduction
1.4 tonnes per operating hour

Akzo Nobel / EKA Chemicals required reliable steam generation to support production, temperature control, and plant utility needs, where stable and responsive heat supply is important.

At full load, the 8 MW electric boiler capacity can deliver approximately 8 MWh of thermal energy per hour.
